We are leaving this Saturday, July 12, on a trip to Oklahoma to visit family and friends. It has been four long years since we have made such a trip, and all of the kids are looking forward to it! Even Sergei and Zhenya were planning on going, but Sergei has had brake problems with his car and they are "iffy" at this point. We also had to have mechanical work done - a rebuilt transmission on one of our vans. Ugh. We are very thankful that it was discovered BEFORE we left, though.
So, ten or twelve people, in either two or three vehicles, will be "taking off" early Saturday morning on a wonderful adventure! You should see the kids scrambling to fit everything into the small amount of luggage we are allowing. :-)

Well, they all got off about 6:30 this morning. Sergei and Zhenya didn't go. Ramona never heard from Sergei and Zhenya had to go on the 19th to Calhoun college to take the other part of his GED test. I will pray for their safe trip. If you read this,please join me in prayer for their trip.
